Context

Bulletin boards located on each floor of JCM building in TXST serve as the primary physical communication platform for sharing information with students. These boards display approved materials such as upcoming exhibitions, gallery events, club meetings, scholarship opportunities, and other art-building announcements.

Collecting Data

To better understand how information through the bulletin board spreads, we need to ask students and staff their experience so far.

Proposal

Redesign the bulletin board as a more intentional and interactive communication platform. The bulletin boards serves students by encouraging engagement, visibility, and a stronger sense of community ownership.

Results

Having poster policy on one side of the board makes for quick recognition, less strain on finding it. Colored butcher paper backgrounds to visually separate the posters.
